Day 49 - 60

Day 60: 12/21/2010
Our first and maybe last Christmas Card.
I think I made Christmas card creation more difficult than it should be.
After about my 8th trip to the store, a decent product was printed.

Day 59: 12/20/2010
It's amazing how fast time flies.
It feels like only yesterday when Sydney could barely sit up,
and now she is one! Happy Birthday little one!

Day 58: 12/19/2010
Jill came over to watch Tim Tebow's first start as a Bronco.
Tim made it interesting, but the Broncos still lost.
Surprise, surprise.

Day 57: 12/18/2010
First road trip.
Jeff, Jill and I all drove to Casper, Wyoming for Jeff's cousin's wedding.
It's was a beautiful and unique ceremony in a airplane hanger.

Day 56: 12/17/2010
Christmas party at the Stoddarts'.
Linda had decorated her home so beautifully.

Day 55: 12/16/2010
Happy Birthday Jules (and Jen)!
Jules has become a great friend and I was thrilled to celebrate
her birthday along with her twin Jen.

Day 54: 12/15/2010
Ugg time with Sydney.
I hope she doesn't grow out of them too soon.

Day 53: 12/14/2010
Winter flower bouquet.
Flowers often speak "I Love You".

Day 52: 12/13/2010
Women: Do you ever have those day where you just cry?
Today was one of those days for me.
Men: When your wife experiences this...
the best medicine is love.

Day 51: 12/12/2010
God definitely spoke to me today.
At church His Little Feet, a Haitian Orphan Choir, performed.
It was a life changing service.
Please take a moment and watch this video about our call to love orphans.

Day 50: 12/11/2010
This year I had to clarify a bit with "Santa"
about some gift ideas, especially stocking stuffers

Day 49: 12/10/2010
 Tabatha finished grad school! Congrats!
Celebration was held at The Rio in Greeley- hoppin' place.

Day 40 - 48

Day 48: 12/9/2010
Our night stands tonight...
Becca: Lavender candle and a yoga magazine.
Jeff: Sports Magazine and Radio set to ESPN.

Day 47: 12/8/2010
Tonight Jeff and I put up our first Christmas tree together.
When I say "together," I mean Jeff carried it in from the car.

Day 46: 12/7/2010
My new cook book, "Healthy Cooking for IBS."
Jeff is particularly excited about the Spinach, fennel and lintil salad.

Day 45: 12/6/2010
I said goodbye to my wedding blonde hair and
traded it in for darker tones and a nose ring.
Who says married women are boring?

Day 44: 12/5/2010
After two days with a six year old, Jeff and I were in bed by 8:15 pm.
We can't remember if that top picture is of Skyler
or Josh McDaniels following his firing that day.

Day 43: 12/4/2010
Our first babysitting experience together.
We spent the night with 6 year old Skyler and got a preview into
parenting together.
Jeff's version of a "sliver" of brownie is VERY different than mine.

Day 42: 12/3/2010
Not only did we hang out stockings, but most of our new wall decorations.
Google search of the day: "How the heck do you use molly bolts?"

Day 41: 12/2/2010
Homemade apple sauce is always wonderful this time of year.
My grandmother came over and we visited over tea and the aroma of the apples.
What a lovely memory.

Day 40: 12/1/2010
Jeff and I are learning new things about marriage every day.
Lately we've been focusing on forgiveness and unconditional love.
Good thing we know the best example, our Heavenly Father.

Day 26-39

Day 39: 11/30/2010
My goal for this next year is to work on my yoga positions.
Tonight my instructor had us doing the "flying crow" pose.
Needless to say I should apologize to the person next to me for falling so much.

Day 38: 11/29/2010
Jeff and I spent the evening listening to music, writing thank you notes
and working on other projects.
It was a lovely, quiet night home at the Dillon's.

Day 37: 11/28/2010
We had a trip out to see the grandparents in Nunn and Eaton, Colorado.
I can't believe my Dillon roots are in these small farming communities.
The sign says "Watch Nunn Grow"
and I'm assuming they're not implying the population.

Day 36:11/27/2010
I love the word RENEW.
I'm trying to become healthier and rejuvinate my body
and poor Jeff is helping out.
He's been a great trooper eating blander, more simple and pure foods.

Day 35: 11/26/2010
Jeff and I spent what seemed like the whole weekend watching football.
Boy what I have I gotten myself into?...I couldn't be happier!

Day 34: 11/25/2010
Our first Thanksgiving together.
We tackled cooking our first Turkey, named Phillip.
I have to say, it all came together perfectly.

Day 33: 11/24/2010
Word of advice: Read how many servings your recipes makes.
If you accidentally skip that step...
you will end up with a lot of extra batter and no more pans.

Day 32: 11/23/2010
I could never understand why chopping onions never bothered my eyes,
it is actually one of my favorite things to do.
Yet I couldn't stop crying today -
do you think it was the glasses vs. contacts?
Sydney (and Alexa) also gave me this wonderful photo
of her at 11 months. I truly adore her (and Alexa).

Day 31: 11/22/2010
Our friends, Brad and Jessica, gave us this hilarious
Star Wars (wedding) card with a link on the back.
Kevin and I looked the website up
and we had a animated Yoda waiting for us. It was AWESOME!

Day 30: 11/21/2010
Meet little Joey.
Jeff and I got to meet our friends, Gina and Joey's first child.
He was so adorable and so was Jeff holding him.

Day 29: 11/20/2010
I am getting ready for Thanksgiving and trying to decide what to make.
I have really enjoyed cooking lately and am excited to see what I'll try next.

Day 28: 11/19/2010
Oh dear, a hotel for dogs?
Natalya and I picked up my boss' dog Dexter at the the PetsHotel
and I was amazed that the dog stays in a better hotel than I do.

Day 27: 11/18/2010
Some of my favorite afternoons are spent with my little friend Sydney.
I love how entertained she is by the smallest things.
I also love all of the fresh fruits and veggies Alexa always keeps on hand.

Day 26: 11/17/2010
Jeff finally set up his favorite wedding present- the shredder.
He spent hours sifting through old papers and shredding them.
I'm amazed at the enjoyment he got out of it.
