A good traveler has no fixed plans, and is not intent on arriving. -Lao Tzu
Dave, our neighbor, (as well as Alexa) was nice enough to babysit my herbs
while we headed off to CA to pick up our new car!
5.3.2012
While in California, we worked at the Christian Alliance For Orphans Summit VIII.
This meant Jeff and I got to spend more time with the His Little Feet kiddos. :)
It was time well spent.
5.4.2012
Two of the His Little Feet girls wanted to do a photo shoot with me.
What a wonderful girl bonding experience!
These little ones are very talented with the iPhone camera.

Well... not the road trip we planned on... but it sure makes for a good story.
On our drive back from CA, the car broke down 7 miles outside of Saint George, Utah.
Thankfully ONE auto-shop was open on Saturday to help us out.
5.6.2012
While we waited for the diagnosis on the car, we spent an afternoon by the pool in St. George.
Good news: I got a nice tan.
Bad news: We learned we needed to buy a new engine for the car.
5.7.2012
We decided to rent a car and drive home for week while our car was worked on.
Spoiler Alert: We made it home... but not after running out of gas in the middle of nowhere.
5.8.2012Of course our adventure would not be complete without some weather issues...
As we were entering Denver (at 1 in the morning), we were greeted with some SERIOUS FOG.
Luckily a USDOT truck guided us through to safety.
5.9.2012
Back to normal life.
Jeff's breakfast. Makes me smile.

Sydney's world is so colorful. 5.11.2012
The Fowler's Farewell Party.
We had a fantastic lemonade bar and wonderful canvas (painted by Laura) for friends to sign.
So many came and showed their love for these two fantastic individuals.
Randy and Jessie, we will miss you!
